Default Latest COTH Article: Brain Injury

Okay, so did I miss something in the latest article on COTH about brain injury? I didn't see that she said whether or not she had on a helmet during either incident. I think that would have been an interesting point to add to the article. I'm not a major helmet Nazi, I just think it's a part of the whole story--and without it we're left with a story that has a missing piece.

I wondered the same thing when I read the article. In fact, I read it twice just to make sure I didn't miss something.

If you're wondering about the article in the Chronice about Francesca Mazella, there is a paragraph under the "Fighting The Good Fight" subhead that reads

"I had a helmet on--I always wore a helmet," she said. "Otherwise, I'd be far worse off."

I guess we totally missed that. I wonder why it wasn't IN the article.

It's in the article twice, Velvet, on the first page and the second page, that Francesca was wearing a helmet.
