Default Average height of "low-rise" breeches?

I just turned down a pair of unknown style RJ classic breeches bc I thought the rise was too high - 9 3/4 inches sounded like super high to me.

But now that I think about it, maybe that IS lowrise in breeches?

Anyone have the RJ lows and know the measurements? Or in any other moderately comfortable, attractive breeches, know the average low rise height?

    Thank you so much!

I just bought several pairs of the RJ Classic breeches, but they are the kids sizes, 14 and 16 but they are very low rise. I like them a lot. They fit great and they were on sale for $50 a pair...

I have the RJ breeches (I think the ones you posted about - I'm the one that got the tag info for you ). I normally take a tall/long if breeches are low rise b/c I'm long in the waist. The RJ Platinums that I have are a low-rise regular, and I find them pretty low. I can wear them with a shirt tucked in but they do feel a bit like my butt's going to pop out. They really aren't that bad but I'm used to wearing the waist of my breeches just below my navel.
I've spent most of my life riding horses. The rest I've just wasted.
