    Default Delaware - 16h 4yo OTTB gelding

Sound, sane, OTTB gelding. Homebred and raised. Raced lightly - no winnings. Was in the hands of an oldman trainer and has been pinfired and has scar on right front from Equiciser incident. Sound sound sound - but somewhat ugly right front. Will however, be an excellent local level h/j or event mount.

Has been off the track for 1.5yrs - just hanging out with my herd (they've all been off that long due to pregnancies, etc).
He is easy to handle on the ground- loads, ties, bathes, clips, etc. Very disciplined and lovey (in your pocket type).

Riding... I had a girl hop on a few weeks ago and he was nervous, on the muscle, and wanted to go back to barn to his best friend 10h pony that was screaming in the barn for him. We w/t for about 15m and he was a bit more relaxed by the end of the ride. He is out of work (I'm 8m pregnant) and now is the perfect time to get him and work with him through the winter and be ready to show by spring!

He is offered to an experienced OTTB rider/home in the MD/DE/PA area. Free lease or giveaway depends on situation. Email privately for more info/pics. I put a field shot on my profile pic for viewing (sorry about crappy quality- its from my cell phone).

We're holding a rescue day just over the state line in PA outside of Hockessin, DE on Nov. 6th. You might consider bringing her to the park. If you work with a rescue organization this would be a great way to find a home. I've advertised in The Horse of Delaware Valley for this event so we hope to get some good horsemen out to the event, after all we're having pony rides, lol. Who can resist, eh? If you do decide to bring your horse and have a sign that she's for adoption or free lease or whatever then do have some way to show why she's there. There will also be a lot of kids inexperienced around horses and the only horses that came last year were even tempered horses that could handle the stress. If she gets away from you the highway is very close, so keep that in mind. You might want to just bring photos of her and have a table with a big sign.
