Default RIP Karen Meagher - Massachusetts based HJ trainer from the 70's and 80's

For those who grew up showing in the New England area back in the 70's and 80's, a frequent face seen at HJ shows sadly and suddenly passed away at the young age of 53. Although she has been out of the horse business for quite a number of years, she still had many friends and associates in the business. She was the owner of Race Lane Farm on Cape Cod. She was my first trainer and taught me so much from being a confident rider as well as a competent horsewoman. She will be greatly missed.

She sounds so familiar to me---I'm sure I know her but can't get the face.

Rest in peace Karen and ride on.
