    Default San Francisco trip

Any recommendation for a quick horse fix around San Fran? I'm going to a wedding on Friday the 8th but will have time on Saturday and Sunday.

Talking Woodside Three Day / Stanford Red Barn

The Woodside Horse Park will be holding a three day event. You could go spectate! Its very nice park about 40 mins south of San Francisco, easy route down the freeway.

    Woodside Horse Park

    Surrounding Woodside is very "horsey".

You could also check out the BEAUTIFUL Stanford Red Barn which is near the horse park. I think its open to the public, but you might want to contact them first. Their website has directions and contact info.

    ** EDIT TO ADD **

Its the "Red Barn Festival" on the 10th!

    THE RED BARN FESTIVAL

Each year, the Stanford Red Barn Equestrian Center puts on their Red Barn Festival, featuring riding demonstrations, gourmet food and wine, and tours of the facility. Proceeds from the Red Barn Festival benefits the student equestrian athletics program. We thank those who have attended for their support of the Stanford Red Barn Equestrian Center.

This year's Red Barn Festival will feature:

10:30 a.m. Just for Fun Pairs Class

    11:00 a.m. Student-Alumni Challenge

    2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The $8,000 Stanford Invitational
A multi-phase team show jumping competition

1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wine and Dine in the Red Barn
Wine and gourmet food tasting in the historic Red Barn

You could go to the track (in Berkeley-maybe Albany)

Thumbs up AND Woodside day of the horse?!

Boy, actually this is the most jam packed "horsey" weekend of the year!

Noticed the flyers yesterday, it will also be Woodside's "Day of the Horse"

I was going to jump judge as usual at the horse park three day, but I didn't as I want to attend all of these other events as well!

    Woodside Day of the horse

The day of the horse events, the horse trials, and Stanford Red Barn are all within 10 mins of each other.
