Default Would these work for brown field boots?

So I was not shopping for field boots on here, but I came across these in my search for some casual fall boots... to me, they look just like field boots. Pull on with sewn in loops, the only difference is the self-top, but since it's still in the same leather I think it looks ok. Looks like there's even a spur-rest but it might be a little high. What do you think? If so, the price is definitely right, esp. bc there's a 20% off coupon today!!

They'd work with a nice tweed skirt, but don't think they'd cut it in the hunter ring. And I wouldn't show up for hunting in those either!

These are a little more, and you've got a ton of size options.

Do the measurements fit your leg? If you really need a 16" calf and are short enough that a 16 3/4" height would be tall enough for you then they would probably be fine. You might note that they don't get smaller at the top like riding boots (meaning the calf doesn't look like it's the widest point), they don't have a toe cap, and they don't have a functional spur stop.

I bet the leather is realllllyyyy thin. And the heel is awfully clunky.

If they have a decent return policy, it may be worth a try??? But don't expect them to fit/feel like "real" field boots.

I don't think they'd work. Too thin and the heel is to clunky. I feel like they would pinch in weird places as they're probably not meant to be flexed in a constant heels down position.
