Default Some Well Known Junior Hunters?

What are some famous junior hunters from the past 30 years or so? Some horses besides: Ovation, World Time, Way Cool, and Rumba.

My all time favorites, Lansonnette, Chance Step and War Dress. The first two were owned/ridden by Pamela Carmichael, mother of Lillie Keenan. So Lillie definitely has good genes for riding.

I was a junior in the 80's, so my perspective is somewhat skewed. Playing Games, Charge A Count, Filibuster, Nightlife, Life's Pursuit, Better Than Better, Arrivaderci.
Life would be infinitely better if pinatas suddenly appeared throughout the day.

Whiskey Before Breakfast, Tindle, Bavaria, Late for Dinner, Watership Down, Celtic- some of my favorites in the 90's.

Tindle was probably one of the greatest hunters of all time!

I also second Condor, Lyle, and Drum Roll - all in Leslie Steele's barn at one time or another

Me too! I remember people made snarky comments (Pretty sure it was on here) because the horse was brought over and gelded so Georgina could show it in the juniors. Am I remembering that correctly?

I think you may be thinking of Lion King, who was an eventing stallion and gelded to do the juniors.

Although he only came from PA, not sure that qualifies as "brought over." Unless Bruce got him in Ireland where all the eventing "Lions" originated from.

No I remember that too. Those comments were expressed by the eventers. The ones that had to deal with Dialog L I think were from a breeding angle or perhaps some jealous h/j riders? Oh well, not really important.

Dialog L was purchased for Georgina with the intent of eventually showing in the juniors. He did a year or two in the open divisions with Scott Stewart before he was cut, though.
