I don't know if I can say I'm any sort of an amazing writer... but I find my experiences to be honest and comical.

I just hosted the Blog Carnival of Horses for September. There's a great selection of horse blogs represented! Many of them were new to me.

I really like Mugwhump Chronicles, although she hasn't been updating as of late. She's a western rider but has a lot of really great stories.
(and even though these aren't horse blogs they're hilarious. Check out www.thesuperficial.com, www.hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com)

There are 250+ listed on my directory site: horsebloggers.com
You can browse by topic/discipline if you're looking for something in particular.
Everyone is welcome to add their blogs to the site as well -- you can create an account and add your own, or send me an email from the site help page and I'll add a profile with the admin account.

My blog isn't anything special, but you might like to take a look at my blogroll-- I follow a lot of blogs, and thanks to this thread, might be adding some more!

The Horsey Set Net is a horses-and-culture blog that also features non-riding equestrian travel.
Lately, I've been writing a lot of unusual travel tips for attending the games, like where to shop for horse books while in KY and how to ship home extras, even dirty clothes.
I also did a lot this summer on the opening of the New York satellite farm of Old Friends, the thoroughbred equine rescue. I hope you enjoy the cute video I edited of Zippy Chippy and his owner.
Coming up sometime this week will be some reporting from an endurance ride in Rhode Island, along with a video clip of the action, in reference to the endurance event at the Games.
There are scads of other articles, like a spoof of the "Happy Pony" commercial and a fun ride with a bunch of the Friesians Hollywood has put in the ancient world.
So, feel free to visit the blog (link below) and have a little fun.
