    Default Hay suppliers

It's been a tough year for hay this summer....no rain but farmers have been haying this week.

And I have been buying, and stacking hay for the winter( as in myself doing the stacking). I use about 1000 bales a year. And 40 round bales.

Tonight I went out to feed and there were three bales outside my hay barn. I thought ....funny, I don't remember leaving hay out. I opened the door to find the barn crammed with more hay than I had seen in the morning.

My hay farmers had decided not to bother me and stacked the delivery themselves.

The heat index was probably 100.

I know they don't read COTH but I wanted to say

    THANKS

Don't know what is conventional in your area but around here you bake the farmer a pie.

A nice bottle of French Bordeaux is our usual payment. Our hay customers know what we like
