    Talking Passier GG, adjustable?

    Hi all,

I have a Passier GG that I love.

I didn't think I would be able to use it on my new guy, but today I learned that a tree on a Passier is actually ajustable.

Has anyone had a Passier adjusted? i am going from M too a MW or W. *How did it work out?

Yes, they are adjustable by a professional saddler. I had a W changed to MW and it worked well. It is better not to change them more than once or twice as it can weaken the tree. It's pretty simple to do according to the saddlers I've worked with.

I had a great experience with changing a Passier tree. They are very adjustable and according to the company they can be adjusted multiple times.

Yep, changed from MW to W, worked very well. Although if he gets any wider, I am SOL!

All, Thanks for the feedback. Besides the tree...did you have the flocking redone/adjusted?

The channel on thsi particular saddle is barely three fingers wide. I'm not sure that its wide enough for my new horse,

    thanks again!!
