    That's what happens when your Ag commissioner's strongest qualification is that his name is Farmer.

    (not sure why the ability to toss a round ball through a hoop counts for so much )

    No surprise there. The KY government has done pretty much everything it can to let the horsemen know that the TB industry isn't important to them.

    Like the Standardbred industry before it, the TB industry is moving to more accomodating states, and taking its jobs and tax money with it.

    "the equine sector was responsible for $780 million of the state’s total $4 billion." being down 10% is pretty extreme but wowsers you would think Kentucky would realize how big their horse industry is
