    HOORAY!!!

On a side note... horse ownership and parenthood: two occupations where discussing bowel movements is completely acceptable and even expected. Here at the office, the conversation quite often turns to baby poop

LOL! I swear I spend an inordinate amount of time examining poop! Dogs, pigs, horses. Not enough poop, I worry Not the optimum texture, I worry. No poop, I'm calling the vet! Thank God your gelding is feeling better. Here's hoping that he will continue to improve.

Praise the gods of fecal matter!

I know the feeling ---- a mare at my barn had a terrible impaction and we were going to euth. her when she pooped out this awful bloody black mass. We kept the poop in a bucket for days as everyone wanted to see the "miracle."

I think only horse people can appreciate the site of a nice pile of poop.

Have been in your shoes OP, I can imagine your relief... Hopefully your horse is over the worst. Good luck.
