    Default Tracking Down Papers??

I have a really nice hunter that I am curious about his lines. He's branded Oldenburg, and I know he was imported. The lady I purchased him from claimed to have no papers for him. I'm hoping someone on here has had some luck tracking down papers/learning about bloodlines from a brand??? Or am I SOL? Thanks in advance!

From just a brand? I say no way. Best bet is to find the person SHE got him from, and go from there. Do you know his original name?

I actually dont really care about the papers. I really want to know his lineage. I have no clue what his original name was. I sent a PM to someone on here that was giving advice on a similar thread I pulled up. Seemed like from the brand and number under the brand you may be able to find out bloodlines. I'm hoping anyway! I know the lady who I bought him from imported him. I have sent an e-mail to her, but I doubt she will be much help, as I had similar questions when I was trying him.

Do you know his registered name, if so, PM and I can have a look in several of the databases.
