Default Where can we layover a horse for the night near Amarillo, TX

Sold horse and they are picking her up themselves and driving. They need a layover for the night on the way from Houston to Colorado.

Awesome little place off Loop 335 (St. Francis), just west of US 287. Take the N. Western exit and go south to the first right. I have stayed there a bunch. Love them.

Happy Tracks Horse Motel--west side just off I-40. Love's Truckstop on the
other side of interstate. Not far from Walmart, etc. Has "bunk" rooms available--eclectic mix of furniture styles but very clean.

We stayed there in 2002 with our two guys--it was February so we were the
only folks there. Stalls were immaculately groomed. Stayed in one of the
bunk rooms. Horses settled right in like they had lived there forever. Room wasn't fancy but comfy.

We were in the area last month and it is still there and had a parking lot full of horse trailers. There is another one along I-40 but can't remember the name of it.

I had really great luck finding overnight stabling online using the HorseTrip website:

    http://horsetrip.com/

So, if any of the other suggestions are booked up, check that out.
