Default How much are you paying for Triple Crown feed?

    3 products specifically:

    TC 14% Performance

    TC Lite

    TC Rice Bran Oil Plus

just trying to see what kind of damage I'm going to do to my bank account before I ask my feed store to order some.

    TIA!

Where are you located? Prices will vary by region .

If your feed store is going to order this specifically for you only, I'd go to them, say, "I'd like to order 10 bags of TC Lite; how much will you charge me per bag?"

I have known feed stores to increase the price a little if it's a special order - better to go straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak

Two weeks ago I talked with the owner of the feed store where our grain is ordered, he mentioned TC prices are going up. In september, the barn is switching to another product. This is in the midwest.

Can't get it much longer due to the Cargill switch, but TC Senior and Growth were $17 a bag. In the Twin Cities I think it was closer to $21 a bag. I imagine Lite would be the same.

It really depends on where you are located. At my store Senior, Lite, Growth, Lo Starch and Complete are all $16.40/bag.

Sheesh, that stuff is so expensive. Isn't there a better option for you?

    Thanks for actual numbers.

I've heard great things about TC products, but they were not available to stores in my area until recently. I'm pleased with Nutrena, which is what I feed now, but I was thinking of giving TC a try to see if it really was that much better.

I'm paying $18-ish for Nutrena XTN right now for my hard keeper. Never thought that would seem cheap.

Thanks, all. I'm off to do some math now.

In my area (New England) the Senior and Complete are around $17± a bag - not sure about the other ones though.

What stores are selling Triple Crown? I have to go to Agway which is always more expensive than TSC for the same product. I wish TSC would carry TC! I pay $17.50 for TC Senior.

The answer most likely can be found on their website. I doubt you have a Garrison Farm Center in your neighborhood

Well, I meant stores associated with the prices that were being quoted. I had phrased the question differently but didn't want mp on my butt about a grammatically wrong sentence.

I pay 15.85 a bag for Complete, maybe a dollar more for Senior. Honestly even if I didn't get such a great deal on it I would still feed it.my houses look amazing and my hard keeper is finally flourishing.it is worth every penny.

Chaltagor, I also pay $17.50 for TC Senior at a feed store in Monmouth County (not a chain store like Agway).

Southern states carries Triple crown at 17+ . There's about a dollar variance between products with the most expensive being almost 18.

In the south, you can only get TC products from Southern States stores (Southern States mills TC products in this region), whether they be corporate owned stores, like my local store, or independent Southern States dealers, like the one by my parents.

Wow...you guys are lucky! I'm in S. CA and a bag of TC Senior is about $28 with tax! Great product so I still feed it despite the price tag.
