    Sorry there, rmh......
The ride is on the Horseshoe Trail, where it starts (or ends depending on how you look at things)........ in the Stoney Valley state game lands, 37K ac.s. This area is located outside Harrisburg, Pa.

The HST is 140 miles long and ends in Valley Forge ..
although there used to be a trail going all the way through Fairmont Park along the Wissahickon to the Liberty Bell in Philly.
Parts of this trail can be extremely rocky, as well
as breathtaking and awesome to ride -- its a workout for sure.
In Stoney Valley, it climbs a few mountains, and runs along a rail bed (20mi)...and, with plenty of water all along the way.

Its a favorite meet point for many riders in this area,
for pleasure riding or training. Company always welcome.

I ride everyday(afternoons/evenings) --- just send a message if you are in the area... and we'll get together.
