My daughter is constantly watching youtube videos of GP's, european ponies.. etc. The favorites on my youtube account change frequently but Flexible with Rich Fellers is always on the list. My daughter loves those smaller horses -

Here is a video of Flexible from a show we attended and were literally close enough to reach out and touch him. (didn't take the video and I can actually see myself in the audience!)

Wow I love RF's style. Nice. So light in the tack and such a soft hand between the jumps.

And he is a large rider on a small horse and he makes it so that you barely notice him. When I watch him ride Flexible all I see if the horse. And I LOVE that horse. I had my own video of this ride on my youtube but the whole time I kept swooning over that horse.. out loud.. and my daughter told me to take it off my youtube because it was embarrassing!!

    Default Not GP but...

I've trying to watch this video of Peter Pletcher and Redwine a few times before I horse show this summer. His ride here is really similar to the ride my horse likes and it helps to see how he does it (better and with bigger jumps).

So I should be finishing my portfolio for the last class of my MBA but...

I've always enjoyed watching this pair

    Conrad Homfeld and Abdullah
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMXjNPNA-J0

and when I clicked on that video this came up on the sidebar and so I just had to watch

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7Lo5...eature=related

which got me thinking about Rodrigo

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5Exf8Lcxo8

probably one of my favorite pairs to watch were Chris Kappler and Royal Kaliber but I can't find any videos on Youtube, oh well guess I should get back to work

He did barrel racing one year too, on Charmane's barrel horse IIRC. That was fab!

I'm biased because he was incredibly nice to all of us when he was here as well as giving his horses scratches and love between rounds, but I love Bjorn Ikast.

This one is when there was a storm coming in the middle of one of our rainiest winters in history, so the buck is just an expression of what all the horses were feeling. I love how he just keeps going and doesn't worry about it.

I didn't find his jump off ride on Braveheart that he won in Tucson which is the one I really wanted to post, but here's a different jump off ride on him:

I am a HUGE fan of Rich Fellers; just ask him! LOL He gives 100% to every horse he rides. Flexible is great fun to watch bounce around those big courses! Your daughter LeeB10 picked a great one to admire.

I watched him ride in the GP at Wilsonville in June (Early summer Classic?..I think..) and he wasn't riding Flexible, but another small-ish horse, it was a beautiful ride. I think he pulled a rail or two, but so did everyone except for 2 riders. He is so quiet in the tack, just awesome to watch ride.

I LOVE this video of Richard Spooner and Pako

Callan Solem, I love the way she rides.

Not the best video since the jump blocks a lot of the ring.

Not a GP ride or a GP rider, but it's still so smooth and controlled... something to work on for sure!

The video always makes me a little sad though, because Graphiq passed away earlier this year...

I'm a little surprised that there are so few GP riders that people watch on these forums. Is that really true?
