Default Neoprene Bell Boots for 24/7 use

Is there any reason not to use them on a horse that needs bell boots on all the time? It seems like they would be a lot more comfortable than the rubber/gum ones.

My guy lives in bellboots and has pretty much destroyed them all. Till I bought the petal bell boots. The ONLY thing that stays put, doesn't fall apart and I like that they allow lots more airflow but still protect.

My guy lives in Professional Choice over reach boots. They've rubbed one of his ankles raw a little bit, but I keep an eye on it. They have held up INCREDIBLY well. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

I find they get (and stay) soaking wet, but I live in a very wet area so that may be less of an issue in other places.

Otherwise, they seem to hold up much longer than most others do and I don't recall ever having a rubbing issue, and I have wimpy thin skinned, prone to rubs TBs.

Another rec. for the Professional Choice boots. Initially, I had my doubts. We've had a horse with bar shoes living in the same pair for months now. He used to go through a pair of the Davis velcro boots or the gum rubber pull ons in 2 weeks or less. The PC ones are very tough. They do run super small, however, even if you follow the sizing chart. I just bought a pair for my ISH who doesn't have super big feet and the XXL just fit.
