Default Bike racks at KHP for WEG

I just received confirmation from Jamie Link at WEG that bike racks will be provided for those of us who want to use the Legacy Trail to get to the Park for WEG. He says the "bike farm" will be located towards the front section of the campground and will have bike racks to accommodate locking them up. Please help me spread the word.

I wonder if they'll be charging a fee to park bikes!?

Is the Legacy trail even done yet? The countdown says we have 53 days to WEG, things are getting tight timewise.

I haven't actually seen the trail, so I don't know how complete it is. According to the most recent news story I saw, the portion of the trail from the Northside YMCA to KHP is supposed to be complete in September, before WEG. The portion from the Y to downtown will be completed later.

I believe some sections are nearly done. You can see parts of it from Newtown Pike, they are already paved. Also, if you are driving along I-75 towards G'town, you can see the section that goes under I-75 towards KHP. That is also paved. They have some landscaping to do, but I believe they will have it completed enough to use by WEG.

The section from downtown to the Y will be constructed later under another contract, which is currently unfunded. Most of it is will be on existing streets and abandoned railroad R/W anyway.
