Default Want to See What Flying Coach Class is for Horses?

Sort of looks like the way most of us humans have to fly! Not quite the luxury shipping we are normally shown but this is the way horses are shipped in large numbers.

It would be worth it to bypass those TSA idiots!

I wonder if they have to pay extra for their in flight meal.

Oh my! I don't think I'd want to be on that flight if there was an unruly passenger. One would hope that the flight attendant was generous with her passing out of the cocktails.

I bet the in-flight movie was The Three Stooges "A Day at the Races".

Other than the fact that there's no roof/walls to divide them up a bit, that's pretty much how the horses I flew with looked! 2-3 horses per box, it was kinda cool! Loved going across the tarmac, didn't love being raised up by what seemed like a bit of an unsteady machine... Not so nice when you hear "NO!! When I say 'STOP' you\re supposed to do it like THIS!!" :|

Nope, all they get are a bag of pretzels and a coke in a plastic glass.

Actually, most commercial vans look like this. The partition might be a bit higher, but very similar.

Yep, I guess that's the difference between coach and first class, MK.

    Great videos, very interesting, thanks!

Most all horses imported from Europe fly first-class then. I've never heard of anyone using something other than a pallet that can fit 3 horses although many people shipping adult horses buy a stall and a half.

idk why but I think it would be fun to fly with a horse. I love flying and I love horses, why not combine them

It's not uncommon to see one of these planes at the Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, KY. No shipping boxes, but the stalls do look a bit sturdier than the plywood in the video!

So my question is where are that many horses flying all at one time? Do horses really fly that often? And that many that there is a need to fill a whole plane?
