    Default Blanket Measurements

I have a couple of blankets whose tags have been washed/rubbed off. What is the method for measuring them to find out the size? Wither to tail?

I think it's pretty standard to measure middle of chest to tail.

    Middle of chest to tail.

I lay the blanket on the floor with it folded in half so you have one side facing you. Then I measure the total length of the blanket from the furtherest point forward to the furthest point back by the tail.

I then subtract anywhere from 0 to 4 inches from the total length (depending on the style of the blanket) to get an estimated blanket size.

Then I throw it on a horse or pony of a known size to verify the calculation...
