Default Torn Collateral Ligament of Elbow

Has anyone had experience with this type of injury? I've done the PRP and stem cell, but my vet hasn't actually treated one of these before. I'm curious if anyone else out there has successfully brought a horse back into work after a "busted" elbow.

Any info would be great, thanks!

May I ask, how was that diagnosed and do you know what caused it?

It was diagnosed via ultrasound after nerve blocking up the leg. I wish I knew what caused it! We haven't had any trauma or "incidents" that I am aware of, but the vet's best guess is that the injury happened fairly recently. He's never turned out with other horses, so a kick is impossible. Apparently this is a very rare area for ligament damage, so I was just curious if anyone else had any experiences to share.
