Default who was looking for a short flap wide tree saddle? eta: or a teeny tiny saddle?

came across this beauty, it would be on its way to me right now if it were a 17.5-18 and long flap

17 w northstar, a treat to find a short flap in a seat size larger than 16.5!

Just because you’re afraid, doesn’t mean you’re in danger. Just because you feel alone, doesn’t mean nobody loves you. Just because you think you might fail, doesn’t mean you will.

I don't know that I like the short flap but otherwise sort of like it. But what the hell is a north Star? Never heard of it and given how little some "big name" saddles are selling for I'm wondering if this isn't a bit overpriced?

I don't know much about north stars, but I've never seen one retail used under $2k before. Does that necessarily mean anything? In the grand scheme, no not really, but I have liked the looks of them too, they look like a good fitting/riding saddle. I've been itching to get my hands on one.

figured I'd post it as everyone once in a while someone is struggling finding a very short flap.

Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

I've ridden in a North Star, and liked it. My horse, however, did not. (No fault of the saddle, the tree was the wrong shape for her.)
