Hi all - sorry to start another boot thread. My polos and I have been spending far too much time together lately. I hope some of you might have personal experience with fleece-lined boots and can help steer me in the right direction...
1. Fleece-lined (Horse has a cyst on the fetlock that is irritated by boots rubbing)
2. Help with interference/brushing from caused by horse being narrow
3. Budget minded
Horse will not be jumping. Horse will primarily be ridden in grass. I am concerned with how much heat the boots will hold in, given the information on the negative effects of heat on tendons/ligaments.
I use the Dover Pro sport boots (look similar to the Adelaide boots you posted) They were around $20 per pair back when I got them, I think.
Have used them on my big guy for a while, about 2.5 yrs or so and love them. And they wash up perfectly in the clothes washer, or you can do the hose off then brush when dry method of cleaning too.
