Default Youtube video with spooky horse?

We've all seen it--the young rider who's riding a young horse in a test and he spooks--hard--and she stays on, adjusts her saddle and keeps going beautifully. Anyone have the link? Meant to send it to a young rider I know who's lost her nerve and haven't been able to google up the right keywords.

This is another video you may want to show your rider. The horse bucks and the girl just keeps on going, even after losing her irons. =)

However, she does fall off at the very end of the video.

I will. She took a nasty fall and broke her arm a few years ago as a 10 year old (pins, multiple surgeries, the works)...now she's ready to canter again but can't seem to shake off that fear. Thank you thank you

Just fantastic! Both of them. They had all the basics in place to ride through a bad situation.

    I agree with this.

OP, you could also bring up in the 2nd video that it shows even good riders fall and sometimes things just go wrong.

I believe the one in the first video is a trainer.

the one I was thinking is an AMAZING young horse and a male rider... the horse loses his marbles and he recovers beautifully and continues on. If anyone can find that I'd love to see it again. That horse walked on water (when he was spooking, and not)

This isn't via YouTube, but an excellent example of a super spooky ride, ridden tactfully and with great grace, and ending with a really decent test.

This is Hans Peter Minderhoud and Zizi Top when he was a 5 you IIRC.

Ah! I'd forgotten about this one too--AMAZING to watch. So much could be gained if all riders had such strong foundations.

however... this is by far the worst freak out I've ever seen caught on camera where someone stayed on the horse:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o19Y...eature=related

the horse literally loses his marbles with the way he begins to move

Shes actually a younger girl who has a special gift in working with tough tough horses. What she is able to achieve with the mounts she is given is nothing short of amazing.
