Default How long to see behavior change after hay change

I took Mr Squirrely pants off all alfalfa after he was walking all over the farrier. I had cut him back to half alfalfa/half grass at night and all grass in the am.

he is on all grass now.

when should I expect to see a change.

any feed stuffs take about a couple days to enter the system but can take a week or so to come out , so as you have changed your hay to a lower grade one then you should see improvement in hs bbehaviour in about week or so he should calm down as alfa hay can make horses a bit gassy as in hot to handle
