Pony photos that make you smile
I know that pony is a four letter word but sometimes they can turn out so right. We are blessed to have such a pony. These are my two favorite photos and would love to see others that make you all just smile.

Elvis is only about 9 hands but he is perfect for a 3-4 year old. She can handle him just fine.
CS - I love your grey pony. That is the next on my list. We had one named Snowball and we really miss her.

Me too me too! This is Sandy -- she was a feral pony that we purchased at auction. She trusted only Tory for the first year she was here (tory was 7 at the time).
Another year later, Tory was VERY ill, and house-ridden for weeks. Every night, we let Sandy out of the pasture, and on her own she ran aruond to the back of the house, to meet Tory at the window and see her mom. (and get a carrot for her efforts!) This wonder pony did so much more than the doctors could to help this little girl recover....

Wow CWR - what a special bond they ahve.
This is my darling, two years ago just after Peach the Wonder Pony came along. We'd been at a birthday party in the area, and she INSISTED we drop by and see her - hence the boots and party dress.

I bought a pony this spring for my grandaughter. Now we don't have fancy riding clothes and we have plenty of mismatched tack. But I know she loves him and him her. Pony is an older retired pony who has showed with little kids his whole life. He's done bunches of bday parties and long weekend trail rides too. He will now live here forever and teach this little girl to ride. She is now two.http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_0591.jpg
He is black with 4 white socks, a star and a snip. He is 13hh. We are already very much in love with him and is a perfect gentlemen with the little ones.

I post this all the time - it's one of my favorites.... http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...leepygirls.jpg
Daughter #2 and Angel at a Pony Club show jumping rally. I think the kid had just turned 7. I found another picture of my daughter laying down on Angel's neck and both appeared to be napping ringside as they waited for their class a show. I need to scan it.
I know ponies can be rascals, but I am so thankful that we had that dear sweet pony in our lives!! She lived up to her name in every sense.
Y'all ain't right!

Thanks for posting these fantastic pics. Tory! What a fabulous story and such a cute story. Thanks Crosswinds!
Beastie, that pic sums up the intense bond between horse/human. Absolutely adorable and contemporaneous. They are clearly partners!

DD on Snowfox at her first show. I need to load the other pics from the other shows. I LOVE this pony, even when he does a little buck into the canter. Then I threaten him with the dressage whip and all is right in the world.
