Default My rescue dog from Sunkissed Acres

and the neighbor's dog. joy, the basset, is not long for this world. heart problems and old age. rj and i stopped by to see if joy was outside, enjoying the summer breezes but her owner said that she was in, lying in her bed, and had been like that all day. we went in to visit and rj went over and gave her a big sniff and she staggered up to greet him. then, she actually managed to stagger her way outside to lie in the grass of the lawn. rj, laid right next to her and then rolled over so he wouldn't be too close. but he still wanted to touch her. so, here is the paw to paw touch of two doggy friends. breaks my heart to see such tenderness and kindness between two critters. joy let out a big sigh of joy when he reached out. sooo sweet.
