    Default Finger Lakes people--Broadway'sstardust

She's four and is beginning her career. Got a virtual stable notification today that she had breezed yesterday.

Please keep an eye out for this mare for me. She's tail male Olden Times, with a very promising sport pedigree. I'd love to see a picture of her. I'm imagining a rather petite mare, but these days, who knows?

    If she doesn't make it as a race horse . . .

I can't find her name on any database. Could you confirm the spelling of her name? I've tried several different versions and haven't had any luck....

Do you know the name of her owner and/or trainer? Easier to keep an eye on that way.

Viney, I've put some feelers out for you and will keep you posted. She worked in 37.20, smack dab in the middle of 12 horses working the distance. She's either just getting started or poised to run.

She breezed again today, and was 16th of 28 at 4 furlongs.

I looked at her pedigree again, since that was why I put her in my virtual stable in the first place. She's tail female to Lady Juror through Queen of Speed by Blue Train, and she's by a son of Full Pocket. She has no Northern Dancer, Mr. P. or any other "modern" sire, except one line to RAN. She's got all the great old lines--Ack Ack, Damascus, Grey Dawn, Forli. . . . She'll probably be slow or need a distance.

At least they waited until she was older to bring her into training, as she appears to have (except for the RAN) slow maturing lines.

'looking to sell before the end of March' because if she gets any thinner, she will look like a rescue case?

I'm here. I'm cringing. I'm thinking. I do not need another horse and am in low financial straits. Shipping here would be more than the cost of the mare.

But this girl speaks to me.

I can toss in some dollars to help get this girl where she needs to go, too. Let me know where to send it. Viney, would love to see her with you, but regardless, will pitch in for a soft landing.
