Got a reasonable quote from Cornerstone, but I've never heard of them.

I'ved used Nationwide Transport...my Icelandic came to our farm really thin...I think that he was too stressed out that he couldn't eat much. But the other horses I saw in the trailer look pretty fat and relaxed.

I will need to move my very particular Arab mare from WI to WA this summer so I'm worried here....

our adopter used mary mykytyn -- mykytyn@rogers.com -- to transport a gelding from central IL to north eastern Canada. We were very pleased with how she handled him at pickup, and even more pleased with the adopters feedback when he landed in Canada. Pricing was reasonable. I understand she runs all over the US and pretty regularly goes into Canada.

Reese's All State Horse Express, based in Colorado. I've used them more than once and have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend them.

Hands down Equine Express. I have used them several times for cross country moves, as in coast to coast....they are so NICE. The drivers are hilarious and have been known to kiss my mare for me! And they put up with my calls on their cell at all hours, checking to make sure my mare is all right. You can't buy that kind of attention. I am an EE customer for life.

They are centered in Gainesville, TX and go to the big racing and cutting sales, shows, etc. and have reasonable rates, even better than others if they happen to fill in a hole with your horse, you are not particular about when you need your horse hauled.

I have not heard but good from them and the two times we used them, they were right on, the rigs top of the line, the horses well tended to.

I think that the better professional shippers generally are all good and will give you a quote readily.

I used a company we found on Uship to ship my horse from Mobile, AL to NoVA. They were fabulous. Company name is Yosemite Horse Transport.

They gave my horse a box stall and only made me pay for a small stall. (They only had one other horse on the ride.) They allowed me to add a trunk and several boxes to the trailer. AND, here is the kicker, they even allowed my mother-in-law to ride with them the entire way. (No extra charge. )

The owners are WONDERFUL. I wouldn't ever use another company.

Ditto on the high praise for Equine Express. I have used them to ship four horses (not all at the same time) from Ocala, FL to Boerne, TX and all arrived safe and sane and happy. The drivers were nice and updated me on the status along the way.

I now have my own big rig (Volvo semi truck/Eby commercial van with A/C) for long hauls, so I doubt I will need to use them again, but I definitely would not hesitate to do so if needed and would gladly recommend them to others.

They got caught up in the driveway leaving with my Arab and were stuck for four hours trying to get out. Not one curse word or negative comment was heard the entire time. Talk about patience and professionalism.

Just recently had a problem with Horsewings. Ended up cancelling that and using Competition Equine Transport. Very reasonable rates, good communication. The truck is immaculate with a ton of padding, bedding, fans, cameras, etc. Would use them again.

There are two Cornerstone Equine Transport, one is LLC and one is Inc.
I used CET LLC from WI.... the rig was beautiful with huge stalls, they use coco mats on the ramp & video for the back. She drives all over the country!

Equine Express does not unload the horses until they get to the destination. (Talked to them today)

They take frequent breaks of up to 2 hours instead.

Another company stops overnight and unloads the horses and lets them rest over night and loads them back up again the next day.

Price is the same either way.

Has anybody used ABC Horse transport? They have several pages of positive reviews on USHIP. They gave me a good rate on a box stall and I got a good vibe from them and can't find anything negative about them anywhere.
