Today Élène's husband posted on her FB page to thank everyone for their support.
He said that he will continue her work, that the colts will arrive on Oct. 18 and will be in QT until Nov. 4.
On the AERL FB page, I also found another note and video (loop) in tribute of Elène. She was really loved by many in Quebec..

I read they are in QT in Germany and flying on Friday ... then QT until Nov. 4!! I really admire Elène's husband. He seems to really want to continue her work and he feels she is with him every step of the way!

Can't wait to see updates of the two colts! They look really cute going on a big trip!! So glad that Elène decided they needed each other!

Roberta is picking them up in Toronto on friday and will drop them at a quarantine facility (own by vets!). The quarantine will go fast.

If I'm not mistaken, it is her husband who surprised her with the second colt!

Yes the two Boys are in quarantene in Germany, but I guess will be on the road to the Airport soon. Tomorrow they fly. Kareen - vet, breeder of one of them, owner of the farm they were born at is flying with them. So they have first class care ! She will meet Roberta in Toronto and I hope all goes well.

They should be in the air by now, if all went well regarding timing (it is a pure cargo flight) they are now in the air for an hour or two. I think it is a 6 (or 8????) hours flight.

I don't know that the airport info gives details of arrival for cargo flights.. Lufthansa? European flights usually arrive in the early to mid-afternoon, but cargo flights may be different...

Anyway, welcome to Canada boys!! Can't wait to hear they met Roberta!!!

    Yes, they are!

I asked Roberta last sunday after my lesson not to forget to take pictures so I could put them on her website and share them! I will let her the privilege of putting some more pictures and give more details about them but I was just too excited when I saw the pictures!

I hope it works better! Durengo and Bodhi!

If people want more pictures, go on Roberta's Facebook page or Roberta's website (that I'm trying to update between studying/riding/working...grrr)

    or
Kareen Heineking-Schütte's Facebook albums under ''Departure'' - ''Bodhi'' - ''Durengo''
