Just talked to my son in Montreal and he said that after some freezing rain, it was snowing heavily. Hope you get some too! I hate these temperature changes too, the footing is so messed up.
    Thinking of you Leena.

False Impression, winter in Québec, especially in my aera has been a real rotten one.
No snow, deep frozen ground for the first part, then good snow lasting a few weeks, then rain. Turned everything into skating park. Now it is again snow and forecats of rain again..

Mother nature is upside down so much. 3 years ago we were just overwhelmed by snow and now this *&?%.

I am starting a real nice lady, 3.5 years old, 16.1 hands but really a cancer 50 years old amateur rider friendly.
She is so sweet and make me so sad to be sick when I come to ride such a lovely mare like her.

It has been almost 2 weeks I am now on Hydromorph with interdose. I am not well but getting to ride this girl is such a pleasure and I pray for a nice home especially for her.

Here a video; you can see how forgiving she is..I back her on january 11th after we got the wolf tooth out. This was a the first month ridden.

This type of horse is the reason I am still there, still riding and enjoying every minute.

Her name is Tsunami and I know now, she has that name because she will turn everybody's heart up side down.

What a lovely horse, Leena. And a lovely rider. I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. But I can understand why you enjoy riding her so much.

    Take care.

    Oh well ! Thanks !

I tend to be convinced now everything is in my mind..Before riding today, the tumors were hurting and told them to shut down for 2 hours..

I wish I could tell them to leave my body, to vanish somewhere else..It does not seems to work that way..Anyway I try !

I am hoping spring comes early for you Leena! So you can enjoy riding without the cold and damp we are experiencing now. You look so beautiful on a horse!
Beautiful filly. What a pair you two make!

Very happy to see your ride on Tsunami! Wishing you much better weather and much less pain. Probably too much to ask for no pain?
    Big hugs!

Well, I had this week a MAJOR breakthrought in my riding..

HAHAHA ! Despite cancer and metastases..Get the hell I am going to a lots of fun here !!!!

I really think Reiner Klimke is smiling here and I am finally be ready to have my clinic with this great man.
At the least he won't be screaming at me for my thumbs up, correct seat and elastic elbows..

Mon Dieu ! I finally found how to make everything at the right place, accept the weight, get the feeling and use the driving aids without getting the horse out of balance or me.

I think getting the coming 5 ridden by a pro was a good thing. I went also at the clinic given by Robert Gharibzadeh..It was just scrambling again in my mind, turning all the technics up and down..
Then I got to ride one the filly coming 5, then back on my coming 4, then back on looking at the training videos..A couple of hundred times..

To get that place to put my hands, to get that feeling...

    Youpi ! I am happy..Happy I never gave up !

Quinn, I really enjoy your position..Really ! Your horse and yourself makes a gorgeous pair !

I checked this thread today because I am feeling sad and missing my father very much. I lost him to cancer in January 2004, and today would have been his 61st birthday.

Leena, I am always left inspired, uplifted and filled with a sense of wonder when I see your updates. Much love to you. Thank you for this gift you give to all of us by sharing with us.

Asb, I feel sad for you.

I found a good home for one of my horses so been busy making sure both horse and new owner feel good.

I did some good trails ride this week, enjoyed spring coming. Weather is better, maple sugar season kick off.

Now on palliative care for a better control of the med. This is a good thing since I have to make sure pain is under control. Doctor is positive since on his opinion, I am not on a lot of pain med, still in very good body condition and very strong spirit.

Just a smack to cancer; I'll be riding in a clinic with Robert Gharibzadeh on march 26th..I look forward to this event since I feel how much improvement in my riding lately.

I also look forward to make the show season; that would be great !

Cheers everyone and keep on riding !
