We are still in winter here. I can't wait to see my ring ready for a ride but we will have to wait until the snow waisted totally.
I am doing ok; doctor is slowly raising my dose of meds so I can keep a life quality.
WE bought back another of our offspring last week. He is now 8, level 2 training level 3 and was in the turmoil of a divorce case. The poor horse was spending his time in a stall with no turn out for some months now so we brought him back home, outside with the others and he is so happy now.
I never thought I would ride again but now that I have this gorgeous dressage horse, I see my energy and willingness coming back. So my plans are to put back this one in shape and ride him this summer while I will look for a good home for him.
Meanwhile I already found a good home for my old mare so she will leave us in april.
o this is the news for now and really I feel good with this even if the meds are there, even if it is going to be hard to ride again with all the side effects. Will see how it goes.
Very happy to read this update!!!! Good on you for getting another one of your horses back and hopefully, this one will give you the motivation... the rest will come! Wishing you an early Spring (although the next few days may not look very spring like!).
Bon courage Élène... tous mes souhaits que les médicaments soient efficaces et te permettent de continuer à apprécier les chevaux!!
Et félicitations pour le 6e anniversaire!!!
Leena, it was wonderful to hear from you. I am glad the meds are giving you some pain relief. The weather here in PA has been very winter like. Freezing rain and snow today and below normal temps for the last month or so....Here is hoping for spring weather for you and me! You continue to inspire all of us.
