Thanks so much everybody !
Nausea and vomitting episode are over for the moment but I do not know what is the real cause. It is like I block and everything came out so violently..I was really impressed by that much violence.
So I had a bad week and this week was a lot better.
It was kreaking cold this week so I did not put my nose outside except for feeding horses. We got a gorgeous 4 yrs old filly we almost fall in love with, so Drakkar did. It was funny to see how polite and respectfull he was with her.
Write to all of you very soon !

I didn't go out of the house much this week either due to cold, hopefully you will get the same warmup we are supposed to get next week. Thanks for the update!

Hi Leena,
That's really sweet about Drakkar and the hot little filly. So glad you are feeling better. It has been wicked cold here too. Stay warm--days are getting longer, I know spring is around the corner sometime (kind of) soon!

Well, as long as I'll feel well enough, I would love to stay around horse.
If my friend want to, she can send me some very young that I could handle and educate for her.
We got some freaking weather, after last week's deep cold we had some rain yesterday and this morning and now it is going back down again. The weather is on roller coster.
After feb 15th, things will get much easy so I'll be out again. But right now it is so icy !

Be careful on the ice! I wish you were closer since I have horses that could use some educating from your gentle hands and terrific seat. We love horses, don't we!

Hello all !
Weather is much better finally ! We may have again some cold temp but we are on the right side toward spring now.
I bought back my old mare Surprise since I discover she had a great lack of care and I could not leave her with her owner so I made an offer and since last thursday, the old mama is back home. She is so happy to be with us ! You can see this in her eyes.
On feb 27th, I will celebrate my 6th year of survival. Time goes so fast and despite some pain moments I feel myself alive. Definitaly the statistics are beaten here.

I'm glad to hear that you're taking care of one of your horses which has fallen on hard times. Often, people do not have the opportunity to keep track of the horses which they have sold. And often, if a problem is seen, the money is not there to buy them back. Surprise is such a lucky mare!
It's a little early in February to say that we're over the worst of the cold weather, but I am enjoying this warm spell. It makes it so much easier to do the barn chores, and have some energy left over to fuss with the horses. Bring on spring!

So happy to see you could help Surprise!! Must feel good to bring her home.
And I agree, February could still have pretty cold days. I hate the warming spells because they mean thawing --> freezing again and the footing is the pits for the horses and humans.
Did you get my email?

Hey Elene - First, happy eary spring to you. Second, so glad to hear that the mare is back to you; I'm a believer that sometimes these things are meant to be...Third, its awesome to think that still here with us after such a long time fighting. A testament to your courage and your incredibly positive thinking!

Leena...so glad you are feeling ok, and am sorry that your mare was not being cared for properly. I am sure she is thrilled to be back with you. Spring is not far off now, and I am looking forward to more updates from you.

Hi Leena! I found that you can translate your blog by pasting the link in here:

I am certain we lose some in the translation but it was fun reading about baby Dynamite.
Best of luck and stay warm
