Thank you so much for the pictures. From your writings here on COTH (which I haven't read all of them) I thought you were in your 20s. You are such an inspiration to me!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a HAPPY New Year!!!

My SIL died of Ovarian Cancer just this past Friday. She had only been diagnosed with it a week before. She had been in pain for about 3 months before, but the Dr's kept telling her the pain was in her head. I have been following your journey since almost the day you posted, and it really helps seeing all that you have done. You are quite a woman, and we are better off having "known" you.

Happy New Year everyone !
Bonne année ! Merci False Impression pour tes voeux.
We got so much snow within a few days; it is impossible to ride right now. The cold weather will hit by tonight also.
So I stay closed to the fire place. The meds are doing their job so pain is well covered. I feel very tired especially if I do something silly as going out for grocery and stuff.
Our 2 last young horses found good families but will stay at our place for winter and be leaving in early spring.
I have then 3 months to hug them, to enjoy their presence, play with them and then my journey with horses will have to take another step if I am well enough to ride. I'll have to take the time to look for opportunities.
I have a friend that could possibly need a little help since she is a breeder and has a lot of young horses.
This is the latest news so far.

I just read your latest blog entry... It must be so bittersweet to know that all your horses will be gone in the spring and I really hope you can still ride, because as you said it... it keeps you alive!
The snow fall last Thursday was really something! We cry for snow to cover the hard ground and then, when we get it, it's too much!! In Ontario, we did not get the amount you got and it is just nice!
Best wishes again... keep writing.. I really enjoy getting to know you better that way!

I just received the latest blog entry... I had no idea that Dynamite was an orphan filly. How sad.. I really enjoy reading your entries and I encourage anyone to try some kind of google translation to read them.

Leena - I'm so glad to hear that your two horses have found good homes. Though I'm SURE you will be sad to have them leave in the spring, it must also be a great feeling to know that they will have new families to continue them on their journeys. It will bring you peace of mind.
I'm also glad that it is 2013 and that we are still graced with your thoughts and updates, as well as your amazingly positive spirit. HANG TOUGH, GIRL! You have a pretty big fan club pulling for you.
We don't get less brave; we get a bigger sense of self-preservation........

I am so glad you have found time to share with us online, Leena. You continue to inspire us all. Perhaps the fatigue is your body's way of continuing the battle against the disease, just telling you it needs rest to continue the fight.
