What is a 'seasonal' stream in CA?

Is that between wildfire season & the next earthquake?

It's only $30 mil. Pocket change.

so I wonder- after you lose all that money buying her farm, does it all come back 6 months later?

Every one of them had that look of a girl infatuated with horses, the happy, fated look of a passenger setting sail on the Titanic.

Yes, it all comes back plus 10% more than what you started with!!

A seasonal stream is present only during the two or three months in which southern California actually receives some rain. The rest of the year it'll be bone dry.

Jenny is a name very similar to Ginny, which is short for Virginia. I live in Virginia, so obviously we must be related! But I don't want a farm in Callie Forne Ya. I don't "do" earthquakes very well.

Personally I think Sheryl Crow's farm is prettier (there's a link to it in the Farm section)...not as much acerage and it's in TN, not CA...but I'd rather pay 7.5 mil for SC's farm than 30 mil for this one (yeah, I know....lol, I don't have either)...but hypothetically speaking.

Having actually been to the farm in question, I can confirm that it is very nice. It's also huge and in an amazing part of Rancho Santa Fe. I only hope whoever buys it keeps it as a farm and doesn't develop it for houses.

Is it sad that I looked at the ad and thought, 'wow, that's cheap!'. I've been in SoCal too long.

But really, for that much land, in that location? Damn! And it's flat! Be still my heart.
