Default Colorado COTHers, please talk to me of...

board prices. I did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

DH and I are contemplating a move that would involve one horse. What would board in the Boulder/Longmont/North Denver general areas cost if one were looking for full board?

Currently, I have stall, feed/hay, turnout in pairs, lighted arena and local trails. I'd at least like similar amenities. An on site trainer is not necessary, but I dabble in jumpers and riding for pleasure.

    Thanks!

I am not as familiar with the area you are looking in but I know down here in the Springs it ranges from $150 for crappy pasture to $900 plus for full board with training.

I think where you are looking it is a little cheaper, but I am not sure.

For what you're looking for in that area, the average is about $400/month. The nicer barns, or one with extensive trail access are closer to $500 in my experience.

There is a list of horse professionals and their city location under 'services'. Good start to ask about specific area boarding.

Depends on the area. I would suggest a barn with an indoor or winter riding is very limited. Board at a good facility ranges from $500-800.

I wanted to bump this as I am looking to move to downtown Denver in the spring.

Please PM me or post with recommendations for barns that are within an hour commute of Denver that may have the following:

    ~Solid care/management
~Indoor with access to a few jumps
~Turnout every day (abundant grass not necessary, but being outside every day and for more than a few hours is important)
    ~ Nice people
    ~Hoping to stay below $550/month

    Thanks all!
