I am so excited!! I got to go watch my filly I bred at her first Hunter Breeding show. I am proud at how she took everything in. She walked off the trailer and never batted an eye. She got there late and I had to pull and braid her in an hour and a half. I wasn't thrilled to have to rush with her. Long story short she fell asleep through the whole process. I didn't even get to braid her tail, as I was barely finishing her forelock as she was being called to the ring. She was great. Even left the 3 year old that they brought with her. She was such a good girl. It was so nice to see her new mom taking her out and I was happy to get to be a part of it. So here are a few pics I took.
She looks FABULOUS! What a pretty set of socks she's got, and a kind eye. Looks like she couldn't be bothered with any of it. And I think your braiding job looks fine--I took my filly along with me to a show today for a practice run, got pinched for time and did three lovely sets of braids for other people--and ended up with 10 lumpy dressage button braids that 'had to do' for my filly--and her neck NEEDED the 'tiny braid advantage' hahaha. Congrats to you-- must be so rewarding to see the 'fruits of your labor' pay off!
Thanks. It was very exciting to see her. In fact it was the first time I have seen her since she was sold. It was nice to see how happy she is with her new mommy. It feels good when they go to a great home!! Now If I can just make it through the next couple of weeks until my mare foals I will be all set!!
Thanks. She is by Escapade out of my TB mare DoUThinUCanDance. I just repeated the cross and find out next week if she is in foal. Finger Crossed!! We are still in the SP area. We love it here. I would love to get together. That would be so much fun.
