    Default Stallion Suggestions

Looking for a stallion whom is known to: Add Height, improve movement, and improve toplines for a hunter type offspring.

Mare is Thorougbred-although big boned and 16.1 herself, she is not known to throw either substance or height. Movement & topline have been improved through some previous crosses.
Mare has thrown 2 nice quality Thoroughbred foals, but we are looking to breed her to a sporthorse this time out.

    Any suggestions?

here are some suggestions fo ya. Acord III will give substance and he's 16.3, but count on a foal more like your mare's size but with good bone. he also has a great temperment.
Escapade also is similar. Throws great bone and beautiful foals, but lots of them are about your mare's size, although my filly by him is an 07 model out of a 16h TB and she is a true 16.3 already.
Check out charlot farms too. his stallions are all nicely boned and he gets some nice size out of his stallions.
There are so many to choose from!!! I often just look around until I find one that catches my eye. I have 2 bred to Aprio who is a tall fella, and one to Linaro who is a big boy too. Good luck!

I love my Escapade filly out of my Tb mare who is 15.3. It was her first foal and I was looking to improve her Movement and add some height and bone/substance. Her filly who will turn 1 in a few days was everything and more that I wanted from the cross. I just bred my mare back to him for next year. Fingers Crossed. Good Luck with your mare!!

Definitely Redwine. I ADORE my Redwine filly. She is o/o a really nice TB mare. The filly has a better topline, better movement, and is super 'pretty'. It's hard to say how tall she will be yet (she's about 20 days old), but I do think she will be thicker than her dam.

    What about Cunningham?

We are thrilled with our Cunningham x Alla 'Czar colt

He added height, substance and a great top line as well as power to the movement. Also, Cunningham really seems to be stamping his foals as far as "type" and nice heads are concerned.

Ditto on Cunnigham. Or if you want Alla'Czar blood, look at Aslan. He did an amazing job on my TB mare. Good luck!
