Anyone seen what it says on the top of the left column of each forum? For those who have become easily distracted these days....it says TOPIC. Each subsequent post has one of those things....A TOPIC. For those of you who seem to be jumping from topic to topic with your own agenda, why not start your own and keep the others free for those people who are trying to obtain information on various subjects and are getting really tired of slogging through the muck to get legitimate answers? Then at least we could avoid them instead of having them slap us in the face with each click of the mouse.

Just my off topic opinion but what isn't these days?

That is a good idea but then again how will I ever figure out what people really think about saving horse from slaughter when confronted with an inept FEMA during hurricane Katrina/Rita/insert name here, especially afer I paid all this money to ASCPA/HSUS while watching the Ensign/Byrd vote on CSPAN? By the way, how high have you really jumped after feeding your barefoot arthritic horse beet pulp?

We can package it as Gypsy fairy cookies....or fruitbat treats. I know what I would order for my Secret Santa Pal this year!!!!

You know what I keep thinking of, while reading those posts you are referring to, that change completely? My 100 pg spoof thread I started in June that kept changing over time. However, I, at least had the courtesy to change the title every few pages to keep up with the new topic at hand. I keep reading those FEMA/Hurricane/slaughter supporter threads and keep thinking "For God's sake...someone UPDATE the title!!!!

You know, I just don't have time for this!

But since we're here, what trailer do you think would be best for hauling my Gypsy Vanner and Minnie horses? Oh, I need to pull it with my Miata. Should I get that electric brake thingie? I don't want to hijack this thread, but I need an answer because I have to go rescue some (more) horses. I hope they are sabino mares....

Come on jetsmom - get this thread going! We should be able to catch up to your old one in no time http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_cool.gif

Were you thinking they were threads for people with Attention Deficit Disorder?

Since I am on the subject of handicaps (wouldn't want to change the subject), here is a link for Karaoke for the deaf.... Be sure to turn your volume up...no, seriously, turn it up.

Oh Beastie, please be sure to check the tires on that Miata before you leave the farm. I do think a nice 8-horse bumper pull, with a dressing room, would do well for you. You could probably arrange to fit the mini's in the dressing room to have extra room for those rescues!

But seriously guys, what should I do with my 3-legged, blind, 4 year old stallion? I really give him a quality life even though he has to live next to 10 mares who are constantly in season. Do you think I should sell him? What price range? http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_razz.gif

Tackpud-Breed him. But to have a little fun at his expense, put him in a pen with about 5 geldings with bad attitudes and a mare in heat. Using gloves, rub some of the mare's "scent" on the gelding's backsides. watch the fun ensue while your blind stallion tries to make the gelding's feel like "prison beyotches"

    I LIKE the new title!!!

Tackpud- If your stallion is young and black, but is getting whiter as he ages, you could throw some weanling colts in the pen with the others, and name your horse Michael.

Well, you could spay the mares. or surgically attach a donkey tail to him and let him pin it where he will Tackpud! That's what we did last year with our two legged blind chriptorchid stallion anyway. It was all fun and games until one of the lesson kids forgot to wear a helmet. I bet her parents will remember that school picture forever!!! http://chronicleforums.com/images/custom_smilies/no.gif

As for pulling your trailer with a Miata Beastie, please be careful. The wheel base is just a tad too short for that 8 horse bumper pull I'm afraid but I'm sure someone could outfit it with a nice gooseneck hookup for you. Just remember to train your back seat riding dwarf mini to duck when you take the corners!

Maybe we all just need to go back to the FEMA thread and keep posting until it gets to 100 pages. Then maybe the moderators will close it? And then we will have space for another fun spoof thread. Meanwhile, I will whip up a smegma cooler, sit back and take it all in.
It's 2014. Do you know where your old horse is?
