Got my letter today!!
I am so excited, I got the letter from USEF today that I was accepted into the mentor program! I have been waiting on pins and needles since sending in my application.

Are you the mentor or the mentee?

Ahhhh, the mentor it appears.
THANK YOU for volunteering to participate in this most important program. One of the best ideas yet out of the USHJA.

No, I am the mentee...I have been judging locally for 14 years, but never took the plunge for USEF until this year.

Either side, it is a very, very good program. I know you'll love the opportunity to pick somebody's brain.

Yes, I agree it is a great way to get those last few pointers for doing the rated versus unrated. Often the unrated judge themsleves...lol. I am mentoring under Andrea Wells, I very much like the way she judges and we get along well, so I am looking forward to my stint with her.

Sorry, I misunderstood, but I'm sure you will have a great experience as a mentee. It sounds like a very worthwhile program, have fun.
