    There is a stage version of The War Horse. I never came across it in my youth, but it sounds like an amazing story of a boy who ran away from home to join the army to follow his horse to WWI after his father sells him to the army.

    I tried to see it when I was in London last spring

    sold out

    It looks like an amazing work of theatre.
