I am DEATHLY afraid of flying. DEATHLY. I also have a serious aversion to tunnels (thank you, independence day movie), bridges, and overpasses (thank you 9th grade science teacher for that video about the big earthquake in CA making the 6 overpasses collapse on each other).
I hate touching newpaper or anything that has a "fuzzy" feeling like that. It makes my mouth go dry, my hands sweat, and me break out in goosebumps.
I am 17, and didn't have my first kiss until like 3 weeks ago. And it wasn't even with a boy I liked... it was a friend of a friend who I haven't seen since. And it was a tad arranged (from me swearing I WAS going to kiss someone before graduating from HS). SO DON'T DESPAIR, ERINB!
I am petrified I will never get a husband, or even a boyfriend. Or even just someone who LIKES ME. And I don't even want kids!
I hate being home alone or walking in a dark place alone. I am too scared of being murdered.
Alison
Farriers are like cats. They don't like to go out in the rain and they don't come when you call them.

I hate feet too!
LPH, I have driven on the 880 overpass MANY MANY times, and to get to SF from where I live you have to go through the tunnels, and then onto the Bay Bridge! I drove over it right after they fixed the piece that collapsed and probably a 10000000000 times after that!
I love guns. I love shooting them, looking at them, I love the smell after they have been fired... I just bought a Russian M44 and can't wait until the 10 day waiting period is over so I can go pick it up!
I also like blowing things up! No wonder I joined the military!
I was 10 feet away from a tree that got struck by lightening.

I was once the smartest 12-year old in the nation (it wasn't Canada). This has not, however, reflected in my University grades!
I identify with Anne of Green Gables although I live on the other side of the country, 100 years later, am not an orphan and don't have red hair.
I gag at the smell of red licorice. I will leave the room or even move over an extra seat in the theatre if my friends are eating it.
I used to like eating iced tea powder the way others here like Jello powder.
Other peoples' nail clippings gross me out too.
I am not scared to admit that I have yet to experience my first (human) kiss. It better darn well be good!! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...on_biggrin.gif (I kiss my horse's nose (not in a weird way) all the time. He puts up with it.)

Much like other people's styrofoam and popsicle phobias...I HATE toast. Can't stand watching people eat it, hearing people eat it, or even thinking about it. Ick.
Buuut...when I was little I also used to eat butter out of the tub, and horse feed (especilly sweet feed) by the handful.

I hate the circus. I have NO desire to go to Disneyworld.
I'm afraid of high, long bridges, but only when I'm driving. As a passenger, I'm fine. Low bridges, no problem. Go figure.

I still sleep with my Binkie. I have to have something next to my face, it's weird. And I don't use pillows, but I sandwich myself between them. My last X got so annoyed with me because I was always trying to get inbetween the two pillows.

Trying to figure out one normal thing about me! (People who know me would agree!)
I can't stand being on the ground (No pun intended, either!) Love to be off the ground- flying, jumping, gymnastics, playgrounds (when younger)....
I always use at least two pillows when I sleep.
Hate to be indoors

They all died many many years ago. (one at a time) The first was an Olympic wrestler. He had lung cancer.
The second was a camera man. He was shot and killed by guerillas, while on assignment in Columbia.
The third was an Isreali land developer, who was blown up in a car bomb, in Isreal!
What can I say, I only date exotic guys, who have dangerous jobs! Now that I live where I do, the most exciting, exotic guy is probably the guy who delivers the furnace oil. He's middle-aged, is missing some teeth, and lots of hair, but makes up for the lack by growing an enormous amount of facial hair, has an enormous beer belly, and only shows up after I've called 3 times. Very attractive! http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gif

I grew an inch during my second pregnancy, plus two shoe sizes (we shall not discuss my dress size...) I am still the shortest member of my family.
I have absolutely no preference in horse breeds, but am very opinionated about dog breeds.
I like a neat house, but married a slob, and never fight with him about it. He also doesn't care about horses at all.
I love horse art, but never buy any.
From such a face and form as mine the noblist sentiments sound like the black utterences of a depraved imagination. It is human nature -- I am resigned.

I just thought of something else that people are amazed by, lol
I am allergic to metal. I can wear it on my fingers, and I can wear surgical steel, but no other jewelry or I break out. Belt buckles make me break out if I wear them for more than 5 minutes! YUCK!

I've been this height since I was 14. No hope for me- got the x-rays and scans to prove it. Found out when I tore my Achilles, and the doctor, trying to make the mood a little lighter, says to me- BTW, did you know you are done growing? It did make me laugh.

NEVER go to Old Quebec, then. I think all the mimes in Paris decided it was too smoky over there and decided to migrate to Canadia for some fresher air. Honestly, how can people that aren't allowed to talk be that obnoxious!!!
