    Default PPE Outside Louisville Kentucky

Can any Ky. peeps give me the names of equine vets for a PPE. Horse is east of Lousiville by about 20 miles.

Lots of good vets in that area, just make sure they specialize in equines (DON'T use a generalized large animal vet - we've seen some mistakes made when they're not equine knowledgeable).

We routinely work with Rood & Riddle for convenience and because we know the people, but I'm sure there are equally qualified PPE vets elsewhere.

I suspected R&R too far away--over an hour, called and they suggested finding something closer as well. If you wish to p.m. that's great too.

Hagyard Equine and if it a sport horse they have a sport horse division that travels. Doctors are awesome :-)
