Red face Level 1 tests rules

Why do I have an impression that the sitting trot was no longer mandatory at that level? and that you could either do rising or sitting...

Where did I get that? Just a bit mixed up here.

I scribed last weekend and I'm pretty sure the First Level tests said "sitting unless otherwise stated".

There are some places where you have a choice, like the lengthenings.

But I don't have them memorized, could be wrong.

I think that is a new rule for next year. (optional sitting or rising)

In the new 2011 tests, you can do trot rising at First Level if you want. You have to sit the trot unless noted in the current tests.
