    Default Shipping a saddle?

On average, what is the shipping cost for a typical huntseat saddle?

I don't know for certain - I don't buy/sell them often, but the figure $75 seems to pop into mind. I do know that I spend about this much to send back a trial saddle that didn't work for my horse.

I just recently shipped a saddle via USPS Parcel Post and with insurance, it was ~$40. It will vary depending on the carrier you choose and the "extras" you add on. Anywhere from $35-50 would sound reasonable to me.

I just sent a saddle FedX and insured it for 2000. and it is going from the midwest to east coast. $50.22. I bubble wrap and use an oversize box so the saddle is well protected.

I just shipped 2 saddles that I sold on ebay.

The box matters a lot in the cost.

    A 20 x 20 x 24 box with insurance cost $58, while a 16 x 16 x 24 box with insurance cost $40.

    Both weighed 19lbs.

The bigger box, I bought from UHaul, the smaller one is the one my new saddle came in.

Won't it depend on how heavy it is and how far you're shipping it?
I've shiipped saddles around the south for anywhere from $25 to $50 (recently sent one via UPS to VA insured for $700 for $35). I don't think I've ever paid over $50 even with having the store pack the saddle and buying lots of insurance.
    Y'all ain't right!
