Default How often do you clip your cushing's patient?

I did a search and came up with nothing

I've not had to do a full clip on my cushingoid - we've gotten away with doing partial clips the past two years. This year, his coat is totally a mess. I did a full clip today. For those of you clipping your cushing's horses, how often are you having to reclip?

    7th grade land!

On my borderline cushings guy, about every other month in the summer here in the deep south. I did invest in the Double K clippers to make it a little easier.

Pretty much same as Puddin Pie. I even clip lightly in the winter. Good clippers are a must. Y'know it's not just the cushing horses that get clipped. I run a retirement barn and several of my older horses don't shed out as fast as the younger ones so I do some sort of modified clip in this area because one day it's 30 and the next it's almost 90. No kidding.

    Thanks guys

I have good clippers - a pair of Double Ks and a pair of Laubes.
