Hi, having had a "cushings" horse I am somewhat paranoid now. Here is the backstory; Arab Gelding, age 16, has always shed really well in the past, blanketed in the winters. Shedding this year has been slow. So, I wormed again with PP. The shedding is totally on the neck and shoulders, legs really hairy and feathery, belly so so, with long hairs still underneath.(should get pic) and the rump not so good.
What are some opinions on this. Located in Mi.

There have been tons of question like this this year! My gelding is doing the same. I believe the consensus is just that its a weird shedding pattern--the winter hair left faster than the summer hair is growing in! Given that there are no sores or anything, i'd say thats what it is!
Just curious, is your horse a chestnut?(The majority that it happens to seem to be chestnut!)
