    Question Boarding in Central VA

I live in hanover VA and i'm looking for a private (quiet, no drama) boarding facility. Please let me know if you know of anything. Thanks.

    Default More info

You can do a search, there are other threads on stables and boarding, but it would be better if you were more specific.

What do you do with your horse, what are your specific needs etc. . .

I just need a place that has pasture board with adequate pasture room, a run-in, and nice riding area. I don't have a specific discipline yet because my horse is only green broke, so i'm not sure yet what he'll be good at.

You could try Glamorgan Manor (in Doswell, not far from Hanover). It might work for your horse, and I think they offer field board.

Doswell is in Hanover, Glamorgan is technically in Caroline County. Other side of the river.

Hanover is a pretty big county (native here) - a few more details (like what type of riding area - sand ring, pastures with hills, access to trails, etc) and area of Hanover would be most helpful.

I'm in Mechanicsville, and as long as there is a fenced in riding area (sand or no sand) i'm fine. Trails would be nice though, but not required.

Send me a PM and let me know which major road you're near / area you prefer to be(heck, Mechanicsville is half of Hanover!) - 360, 301 or Rt 1 - and I'll see who I know in the area.
