Ditto llt Charlie. Also, I posted when poor Gail Hulick died, and the thread brought out tons of old Saddle River folks...complete with great old photos and camp memories, in case you want to check it out for your Dad.

Last I knew of Chris he was at a place called Back Bay Farm, and he had a grey horse I was absolutely fond of, I didn't see him at any of the shows this summer, but then again I didn't get to go to many, my trainer didn't want to leave home!

Justjilli---I actually thought that was humorous---it was obvious that she was uneducated. But Megan can be a little more sensitive when it comes to the princess.

Haha good times horse shows with all my horsie friends lol 1998 at Autumn Classic at Dionida (sp?). I was like 7. Well 3 of my friends and I went out in the golf cart.. We drove out onto the CC field. I was driving really wild. We got really close to a water jump. Then I kept driving around it. I hit a bump i went flying into the Water. My 2 friends on the back flew out. The golf cart tiped. My other friend flew out into the grass. We had on our show clothes and everything. That was a day to remember. We had to walk back up to the stables and had to get our dads to get the golf cart . Everyone's parents were freakin out lol that was to much fun.

Racetb - don't know about Kevin. I will ask Punkin' next week as I have to go into Journeyman and order some chaps. Like I really want anyone near me with a tape measure, but winter is coming... http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...s/icon_eek.gif

Had to be Maude Frank!! As I recall, flames shot out of the exhaust pipe, and we were jumped by Dudley DoRight Canadian Mounties trying to ride the horses back across the boarder after Calgary. Bareback, ponying two each with wirecutters, as of course we had no health papers..God!!

I will chime in here on charlie13 too. She is an amazing person, rider and horsewoman!
The apple did not fall too far from that tree.
And RaceTB she can probably "do it all" too and probably has!
Now, Charlie13 do not let these posts go to your head and get back to work missy!
Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction!

Okay, Charlie, I remember you being all of 7 or 8 years old and pushing in the ladies room door at Shallowbrook when I had my breeched somewhere around my knees! And there was absolutely no alcohol involved! http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...milies/lol.gif

Heh...This is a funny one. I have too many bizarre memories involving 4 teenaged girls running on 4 hours of sleep and a 10 diet cokes apiece sharing a nasty hotel room with crusty comforters http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_razz.gif Good times. My favorite was when someone started hearing something and the whole room was scared (they thought i was asleep) I began muttering and broke into my "demon possesed" voice. OMG it was priceless.

Parminch---Thanks for saying such nice things about me but don't worry I won't let it go to my head.

SingMiaSong---I am sure I was a little devil child even though my mom always tells me I was perfect. I think that I remember that Shallowbrook you were talking about when it rained so hard and everything got moved inside. I think I showed QuizKid there. Geez I am starting to feel old.
